What started out as an atypical California day, with scattered showers and dark clouds—the gloomy sweater weather transitioned into gorgeous sunny beach weather around noon. This was great news as October 23, 2021, was the date that Moto Beach Classic. Held by Roland Sands Designs, with sponsors Indian Motorcycles and Dunlop Tires, to name a few, the event is a celebration of the motorcycle life in Southern California.

Contestants raced in multiple classes, from Supermoto to grown men riding little kid’s motorcycles—they even had a child race, where some of the contestants had learned to ride on two wheels shortly after learning to place one foot in front of the next. No matter what category, they all raced around a small oval in a parking lot of Bolsa Chica State Beach.
